Mission Statement

The Mission of the Paria River Natural History Association is to foster appreciation for the natural, anthropological, historical and cultural resources of the Paria River, Paria Canyon Vermillion Cliffs National Monument and the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument region by promoting the scientific, educational, historical, artistic, recreational and interpretive activities of the area.

To impart stewardship of the sensitive natural environment.
To foster pride of our own heritage and lifestyles.
To provide employment and opportunities for local citizens to support these aspects
