Susan and Stephen Dodson invite you to experience a one-of-a-kind getaway in Southern Utah’s spectacular and historic Paria River Valley. We offer simple, yet clean and inviting accomodations in a country homeplace that we built with our own hands. After a day of hiking the nearby canyons or splashing around in Lake Powell, you can come home to a hearty home-cooked meal, a hot shower, and a quiet, comfortable place to relax. At Paria Outpost, you’ll find rustic yet comfortable accomodations. If you want to get away from it all, you will - there are no phones or TV’s here. Our
bed and breakfast room offers a queen sized bed and shower. You can kick back in comfort after a day of exploring; put your feet up in a hammock on our shady porch as you
take in the view of the Paria valley, Grand Staircase Escalante Our home cookin in the morning will start you out right with fresh country style breakfasts like omlettes, home fried potatoes, pancakes, eggs, orange juice and coffee. Tent camping is available , or you can stay in our tipi . We have tents and sleeping bags available for rent.. RV’s are welcome! No facilities or hook ups, but you can park in our parking lot. Pets are welcome. Dogs must be on leash. Travelers with horses are welcome, too.
